DESCRIPTION:The Autism Association of Western Australia is partnering with the WA Health Sector and has developed training packages and resources to increase Autism awareness within the health sector. \nThe ultimate aim of this initiative is to improve access to health care and the health outcomes for individuals with Autism\, in line with the WA Disability Health Framework 2015-2025\, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. \nThis event will be held at numerous locations around WA over two months. DESCRIPTION:Are you related to someone with a dementia disease or Alzheimer’s? Do you have an interest as to how your genetics and lifestyle impacts and interacts with the possibility of developing a dementia related disease? Would you like to know more about the link between genes and dementia? Researchers from Edith Cowan University would like to speak to community members to discuss how they can design better communications methods\, how to increase community involvement in their research\, and what would motivate people to make lifestyle changes which may decrease community members risk of becoming unwell. \n  \nResearchers would like to speak with people from diverse ages and backgrounds\, including: \n\nPeople who have a lived experience of dementia\, or are a friend\, or carer of someone with dementia\nYoung people who have grandparents or other older family members with dementia or Alzheimer’s\nPeople who have little or no experience or knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease\nOlder healthy people\nPeople who would like to know more about what your genes can tell you about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease\n\n  \nRegister now
