SUMMARY:Re-imagining the future of e-health
DESCRIPTION:Join a workshop to help imagine the future of the outpatient e-Health experience. \nAbout this Event\nCOVID-19 has shown that our health system can pivot to deliver telehealth outpatient services which ensure quality and support patient choice. The success of maintaining connectivity during COVID-19 has been exciting\, and is a gain we don’t want to see backslide as we navigate towards our new normal. \nOur health system has shown it can work towards a future vision of: \n\nTransforming the patient journey – making it simpler to navigate\nEnsuring every appointment achieves patient centred outcomes; and\nImproving access for those most in need\, including those in rural and remote communities and people with mobility issues.\n\nWhat could our eHealth future look like? \nThe opportunities for Western Australia’s health system to advance are endless. Imagine having your own digital e-health portals managing your outpatient clinic appointments from your lounge rooms thanks to in-home health sensors and remote access to clinical experts. \nThe patient journey of the future is about choice. The choice for consumers and community members to take control of their own health management and only attend physical facilities for required face to face interventions. \nJoin us for this online workshop \nThe WA Innovation Hub and South Metropolitan Health Service\, in partnership with the Health Consumers’ Council and the Consumer and Community Health Research Network\, invite you to an online\, interactive workshop\, facilitated by EY. This session aims to bring consumers and other health stakeholders to continue developing the thinking of a patient journey map as imagined 30 years into the future. \nPLEASE NOTE: Register for the 8:30am session or the 12:30pm session. There is no need to book for both. \n
