SUMMARY:Australasian Neuroscience Society: 40th Annual Scientific Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Australasian Neuroscience Society (ANS) will be hosting the 40th ANS Meeting on 8 – 11 December 2020 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Annual Scientific Meeting of the ANS is one of the largest annual biomedical conferences held in the Australasian region. The 2020 ASM also marks 40 years of ANS\, the future of neuroscience has never been more exciting. \nThe local organising committee\, chaired jointly by Associate Professor Stuart Hodgetts (The University of Western Australia)\, Dr Ann-Maree Vallence (Murdoch University) and Associate Professor Julian Heng (Curtin University) are working together to ensure that Perth 2020 has a stimulating scientific program\, including Nobel Laureate Professor Edvard Moser as well as international and national plenaries\, symposia\, and satellite meetings. \nThe theme for the 2020 ASM is\, 2020: A Forward Vision. The term 2020 is typically associated with hindsight\, and whilst this will be a great opportunity to reflect on the past 40 years\, the theme of the ASM highlights Australasia as a progressive\, forward-thinking centre for neuroscience. \nFor further information please visit the ANS website.
