DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the inaugural WAHTN Implementation Science Symposium as part of the WAHTN Implementation Science Platform. You can find out more about the WAHTN Implementation Science Platform here. \n\nThe Implementation Science Symposium is a free event. \n\nRegistrations via Trybooking\, available here. \n\nMORNING SESSION 9:30 – 12 noon\nThe morning features a welcome and high-level overview of the state of Implementation Science in Western Australia\, presented by WAHTN Chair Professor Steve Webb\, followed by case study presentations of local implementation science practice success stories. Case studies presented will be from varying stages of the implementation pipeline\, and will provide an opportunity for audiences to dive deeper into the ‘how’ of implementation science\, learning from shared experiences. A panel session will then enable discussion of the case studies. Presentations and panel have in-person and livestream options. \nFollowing the morning session\, lunch and networking will be available in the Harry Perkins Foyer. \nAFTERNOON SESSION 1 – 3pm\nDiscover how to successfully implement evidence-based programs\, policies\, and practices into health care. This interactive workshop provides a practical introduction to implementation science\, by introducing the strategies to support you in moving the research into the real-world. Learn how to plan\, adapt\, and sustain approaches that create meaningful\, lasting impact across clinical and community settings. It will be facilitated by Professor Sara Bayes\, Dr Lauren Fortington\, and Dr Mary Kennedy of the ECU Implementation Café. \nThe afternoon workshop will begin at 1pm\, and is open to attendees from WAHTN Partner organisations. You can find out more about WAHTN Partners here. Workshop is in-person only\, limited to 30 places. \nThe Workshop session will be hosted on the 6th floor of Harry Perkins.
