DESCRIPTION:WAHTN in partnership with the Centre for Cell Therapy and Regenerative medicine (CCTRM) and the Centre for Commercialisation of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) Australia are happy to announce the 2019 CCRM Australia – WAHTN Technology Evaluation Workshop. \nThe Workshop coincides with the visit of the Canadian CEO of CCRM\, Dr Michael May\, who will be visiting Perth in May this year. Dr May will be in attendance at the Workshop and will be able to provide feedback on participant presentations. SUMMARY:WAHTN Clinical Trial Forum : Research and Clinical Trials in General Practice
DESCRIPTION:Our main speaker will be Prof Chris Reid from Curtin University who is a Principal Investigator on several cardiovascular clinical trials that recruit through General Practice.  Prof Reid will present the ASPREE study which has just been announced as the winner of the 2019 Clinical Trial of the Year award by ACTA.
