A/Prof Pritinder Kaur is a stem cell biologist with a long-standing interest in the regulation of epithelial tissue renewal, repair and carcinogenesis. While much of her research uses human skin as a model system for epithelial stem cell biology, her recent work has focussed on the role of the tumour microenvironment in inducing malignant ovarian cancer progression.
