The Office of Science is now accepting applications for the 2017 Round of the Premier’s Science Fellowship Program.
This round will provide funding support over four years to attract a leading researcher and a supporting early to mid-career researcher as a package to address an area of need in WA related to human phenomics research and data analysis.
Please find attached the background information document about the application. Application forms can be found at: https://www.dpc.wa.gov.au/science/FundingPrograms/Pages/PremiersScienceFellowshipProgram.aspx
Applications must be submitted by the WAHTN as the Lead Applicant, in conjunction with one or more eligible host organisations based in WA. National collaborations will be considered favourably.
It is crucial that partners and the WAHTN work together in preparing a submission.
Please contact our office by the end of June if you are planning on developing an application, and/or have nominations in mind for these awards.
Fund applications with WAHTN sign-off must be received by the Department at the Office of Science by 3.00 pm (AWST) on Tuesday 12 September 2017.
Applications will be evaluated by an independent panel and recommendations made to the Minister for Science.
Successful applicants will be notified by emailed letter as to the success or otherwise of their application.
