The Australian Centre for Quantitative Imaging (ACQI) is hosting two events on the 15th of November 2021, sponsored by MTPConnect.

 

ACQI 2021 Symposium

Venue: McCusker Auditorium

Time: 9:00 – 13:00

Description: The ACQI 2021 symposium will showcase the cutting-edge developments in quantitative medical imaging in WA, from pre-clinical and clinical research through to clinical translation and commercialisation.

 

Conference attendees will be treated to a host of high-quality presentations as well as a fully catered morning tea and lunch. Seating is limited to 120 people on the day, so make sure you register early to reserve your spot! Remote attendance is possible via the zoom details provided in the register link below.

 

The Symposium will be formally opened by WA’s Chief Scientist, Professor Peter Klinken.

ACQI Introductory Workshop – Employing imaging analytics in clinical trials

Venue: Seminar Room G24

Time: 14:00 – 16:00

Description:  Following the morning symposium, ACQI will host an introductory workshop outlining the fundamental concepts of employing medical imaging analytics in clinical trials.

 

Prospective researchers, companies or clinicians will learn about the organisation and acquisition of medical imaging data, important pre-processing steps to undertake, and the basics of artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning and deep learning. Afternoon tea refreshments and snacks will be provided.
