Science on the Swan: Cutting Edge

Science on the Swan is initiated and run by all five of WA’s universities (The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Murdoch University, Edith Cowan University and the University of Notre Dame) the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, the Telethon Kids Institute, WA Health Translation Network, the key teaching and research hospitals and the WA Government through the Department of Health and the Office of Science.

This is an opportunity to meet the top people in the field; the research scientists developing these technologies in partnership with industry to deliver effective and better health outcomes to the wider community. In addition to plenary lectures, there will be symposia exploring big data, precision medicine, imaging, bioengineering, 3-D printing, new technologies and omics.
