Join us for an in-person networking event to celebrate the launch of

the Women’s Health Research Alliance in Western Australia.

Formed by the National Health Research Alliance (AHRA), the Women’s Health Research, Translation Network (WHRTN) is a peak body in women’s health. It is steered by leading women’s health researchers from each of the NHMRC-accredited Research Translation Centres across Australia (including WA Health Translation Network (WAHTN)) and one of WHRTN’s first activities was to establish state-based networks to promote women’s health research.

The Women’s Health Research Alliance (WHRL) was recently formed in Western Australia, supported by an establishment grant as part of the WHTRN 5-year, $5 million grant from the Medical Research Future Fund. Our aim is to leverage and strengthen large-scale national collaborative efforts to improve women’s health and deliver research, translation and impact in agreed priority areas.
